I gotta say, maybe he was having a bad day when you went, because I recently went for my husband’s birthday, and everyone working that day was really friendly. They even wrote “happy birthday” on the plate (without me asking), and the Chef himself explained each pie to me in detail as I took pictures of them all. It’s possible he’s changed since this post was made, but I think you should go back and give it another try!

Greetings, I’ve enjoyed reading your blog. It is shedding some light on what the Korean experience is like for one individual. I am American chef that may be transfering to Seoul on the next few months. Obviously trying to do some reading up and research. Any recommendatons on other American Chefs living in Seoul?
